Here is my take on it

Up above the world so high…
like a diamond in the sky

We thank thee each morning
for a new born day….goes the song of Jim Reeves

We have a lot to thank Him for
God’s creation He made the moon up
above to shine on us at night
and the sun during the day
to give us warmth and light.

Lord you know if you’re looking down below
its worse now and then
we just gotta take it slow
violence and crime
sickness and grime all around
everywhere sadness abound

Let us all hope for better days
coming ahead
and that we all should stand in good stead
and let us thank the good Lord
for the lovely creation
and help us in keeping it beautiful
